Registrations
Registration for the conference through the online platform is now closed. It will still be allowed to register directly on-site.
CCGRID 2022 and all the co-located events are organized in hybrid mode.
However, we expect that the authors of accepted papers at CCGRID 2022 and ICFEC 2022 will present their work on-site. That’s why for them only the Conference Author Registration is available. One registration covers maximum 1 (one) paper.
Workshops and Posters authors can choose if attending the conference in remote mode or on-site. In the first case, they have to do the Workshop/Poster Author Registration (Remote). If they prefer to join us in Taormina and access to all the conference services, they have to do the Workshop/Poster Author Registration (Physical). One registration covers maximum 1 (one) paper.
PhD Symposium authors can do the Non-Author Student Conference Registration (Physical or Remote).
People who want to attend the conference events can chose between the Conference Registration (Physical), thus to come in Taormina and access all the on-site services and benefits, or the Conference Registration (Remote) to access the conference and session presentations on-line
Conference Author Registration, Workshop/Poster Author Registration (Physical) and Conference Registration (Physical) include access to the conference rooms, lunches and refreshments, information materials and gadgets, welcome cocktail and conference dinner in Taormina, transportation service to/from Messina for the Digital Day on May 16th, access to the EU Day on May 19th, and all the available local services.
Speakers of the EU Day event and people interested to attend only the EU Day event on-site have to perform EU Day Registration (Physical) and have access to all the conference services (e.g. access to the conference rooms, lunches and refreshments) only on May 19th.If they also plan to join us at the conference dinner the day before (May 18th), they have to buy the conference dinner ticket. People interested to attend only the EU Day event on-line has to do the EU Day Registration (Remote)

Each paper accepted to the CCGrid conference requires at least a “Conference Author Registration” to be included in the proceedings.
Each paper accepted to CCGrid’s workshops requires at least a “Workshop Author Registration” to be included in the proceedings.

(*) The early registration deadline is until and including April 20th, 2022.
(**) Student author registrations are available only to student authors when a non-student registration has already been paid for the paper, or authors of accepted paper to PhD Symposium.
Registration includes:
- Materials.
- Proceedings. Abstracts and Papers will be included in the proceedings only if at least one author has registered and paid the registration fee. One registration covers maximum 1 (one) paper.
- Attendance at sessions.
- Attendance at the welcome event.
- Lunches and refreshments (from May 16th to 19th; on May 16th the lunch will be in Messina)
- Conference Dinner (additional tickets may be purchased for 120,00 €).
Registration and payments
Registrations and payments are to be made via an online registration system.
Change registration type
If a registrant wants to change his/her registration from hybrid mode to mode, s/he has to pay the difference between the two rates.
If a registrant wants to change his/her registration from physical mode to remote mode, until April 30th s/he can ask for reimbursement up to € 200. After April 30th no reimbursement can be issued.
Cancellation policy
A cancellation fee of € 200 will be applied for conference registrations canceled until April 30th, 2022. After this date, no refunds can be issued. If your category fee is lower than the cancellation fee, no refunds can be issued.
Insurance
Insurance, including medical cover, travel cover, and expenses incurred in the event is your responsibility. Please discuss insurance cover with your travel agent when booking your travel.
